Supplements For Baseball Players

Are you looking to take your baseball game to the next level? Then you might want to consider taking some supplements to aid in your performance. Supplements help with getting extra nutrients that you wouldn’t otherwise get in your diet. This doesn’t mean that they aren’t present in your diet but that you may not be getting them in the right levels.

The most common supplement is protein powder. For athletes, getting enough protein is absolutely crucial for recovery and getting stronger. Yet, many athletes struggle to get adequate levels of protein in their diet. The optimal level is between 0.8-1g per pound of bodyweight. So, if you’re 150lbs then you should aim to be getting in 150g of protein per day. That sounds like a lot, right? This is where protein powder can become an absolute must. One scoop of protein powder can deliver the same amount of protein as a can of tuna or a chicken breast but it’s also a lot more convenient, portable and easy to consume. This makes it perfect for anyone with a hectic lifestyle or who simply doesn’t have the time to fit in an extra meal. Other supplement that may be beneficial is called Anadrol but not steroid but anabolic alternative. Click here to find out more about users results and Anadrol before and after photos.

The next best supplement is creatine. A lot of people knock creatine off because it doesn’t make you bigger. However, it does make it you faster, stronger and more powerful which is clearly important on the field. It does this by aiding in the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which is used in short bursts of energy. If you can produce more ATP then you can hit harder and become a lot quicker. As well as physical benefits, creatine like Optimum Nutrition creatine review shows that it has also mental benefits, too. It’s been shown to stave off mental disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease as well as improving cognition. Taking 5g of creatine per day will mean that you can react quicker and with greater effect.

Lastly, fish oil is great for baseball players for a number of reasons. Firstly, it helps protect you from cardiovascular diseases which are becoming ever more present in society. Yet, for baseball players in particular the most important benefit is that it protects your joints. There’s a lot of wear and tear on the body in any sport and fish oil helps keep off any injuries that might occur in these areas. You can get your omega-3s from oily fish but a lot of people don’t consume this every day which means that a fish oil tablet can really help out.

If you make these additions to your daily routine then you’ll soon notice a big difference both on the field and off.
